OLD AGE HOME
A home for old people is a critical need of the elderly who are destitute, sick and abandoned by their family, and those uprooted by disasters. Pankh Foundation needs funds to establish old age home in different parts of India. We have visited to lots of old age home and have learnt about its management. We would love to collaborate as we have lot if volunteers working under our NGO.
Keeping in mind the disrespect and disregard some children show towards their parents, Pankh Foundation has taken a few steps to support mentally and with a shelter for these great parents who wanted the best for their wards but got nothing back except loneliness and negligence.

Our NGO Pankh Foundation holds lot of free health check up and eye check up camp in India. Recently we conducted health check up and eye check up in collaboration with Mahavir seva sedanin which more than 700 poor patients were treated ,medicines were provided for free, more than 200 got free eye opticals and 7 had undergone free eye operation in Hastings ,Kolkata. We have dedicatedly serve the neediest and less fortune in all circumstances where humanity is demanded.
The rate of unemployment in our country is very high and one of the main reason of that is that the youth is unable to afford the professional trainings that are needed for employment. At Pankkh Foundation we try to make the youth employable by providing them with free professional trainings such as AC repairing, Computer Classes, Beautician courses and dance classes.
Children have the right to an adequate standard of living, health care, education and services, and to play and recreation. These include a balanced diet, a warm bed to sleep in, and access to schooling. Children have the right to protection from abuse, neglect, exploitation and discrimination. This includes the right to safe places for children to play; constructive child rearing behavior, and acknowledgment of the evolving capacities of children. Children have the right to participate in communities and have programs and services for themselves. This includes children's involvement in libraries and community programs, youth voice activities and involving children as decision-makers.
At Pankh Foundation, we have taken necessary steps in accordance with these child rights'. We organised a 2-hour session every Sunday from 12pm to 2pm for the children where they can study or paint (if the child is too small). We interact with them as much as possible, like elder siblings, guiding them through their books and encouraging them. We provide food to these children. We also organise drawing competitions to bring out the artists in them.
